MY PASSION
My passion for plastic surgery began very early in my medical studies and never stopped growing, pushing me tirelessly to learn, to progress, to interact and to search for excellence.
My training in plastic surgery was a period during which I met and interacted with a wide variety of people. It allowed me to share the invaluable experience and passion of a large number of surgeons, many of them strong and committed personalities, who liked to push the limits of what was possible.
After my training, I was chief registrar at Geneva University Hospitals for two years, from 2008 to 2010. This was a period devoted to microsurgery, rhinoplasty and facial reconstruction.
Before returning to Belgium I did fellowships in aesthetic surgery for the face and breasts in Brazil and Barcelona. This experience confirmed that aesthetic surgery and reconstructive surgery make the same demands and require the same rigour, that they are complementary, but require their own distinct teams and environments.
Today I am head of the plastic surgery department at the Cliniques de l’Europe, which counts 4 plastic surgeons. My reconstructive surgery is devoted to breast reconstruction, especially microsurgery, and facial reconstruction following the removal of skin cancers. My aesthetic work is focused on rhinoplasty, aesthetic facial surgery and aesthetic breast surgery.
Since March 2019 I have extended my aesthetic work to include a private practice as well, P.C.Esthetic, where I offer consultations and perform procedures under local anaesthesia.
